Are you getting your oils out over the oil spill?

I have created a whole series of abstract sea life paintings called "Bottom of An Ancient Sea" in response to BP's oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. In my work I re-imagine a primordial, untainted world of burgeoning inchoate life. As artists we filter everything we hear and see through our creative processes. If we can reach and touch strangers through our images, conveying ideas we may not be able to put in words, then we have achieved greatly.
