InterPlay shares tools for wholehearted, deeply networked, innovative peace-makers.

Last year 12 incredible women, ages 18-30, came to Oakland from all over the world. See them here! We remain supportive of them in this time of unparalleled demand and change. They are fantastic! Read their blog! Arts and Social Change

Can you help us find applicants for this summer's 2011 Summer Arts as Social Action: InterPlay for Next Gen Leaders Training, July 25-August 5th at InterPlayce in Oakland, California? This year we hope to have some men, too.Click here to read more.

The two-week program offers an equivalency of the Life Practice program with a performing focus. In addition, we need mentor-advocates to initiate conversations will potential program participants and connect with them.

The Process

Program participants let us know of their interest by email. Cynthia sets up a phone call.

They submit a letter of recommendation from a mentor.

A mentor can support the person to find scholarship assistance or fundraise along with Body Wisdom for their part in the program. If they are scholarshiped, you can also help us strategize about what kind of exchange will benefit them, others and InterPlay.

It's ideal if participants and mentors stay in touch after the program since we know the challenges of introducing new approaches! These associations needn’t be heavy or super-committed.

If you connect with a potential applicant, please let me know. I can also forward information, email or call them.

Thanks for any thoughts you might like to share.
