Nico and John,
You guys are fabulous, I don't need anything else or any other upgrade on this site. Good work, congrats.
thank you guys! Can't think of anything.
I guess my computer is older or something, because I can't do half of the actions I want to do. (I have a Pentium 4 that has 1.4 MHz, running Windows XP. It is about 7 years old.) I can't send a message. I can't reply to people's messages to me or their comments on my artwork. The only replying I can do is within a forum like this. The other buttons simply don't work. When I posted an image that was the wrong one, I couldn't delete it.

Also, it would be helpful for you to have instructions somewhere on how to include an image in one's post.

On a deeper subject, here's my impression of the site vs. the audience: The site seems to focus on collaborative, multi-cultural projects, which is great. But digging into the forums, it does appear that most artists are working on a smaller and more individual level. I wonder whether you realize what this disparity means. Regular artists are less likely to join, because it looks like the site is for more international endeavors. Meanwhile, most of the people who join are in fact regular artists. So your presentation is actually turning off the largest base of artists who might otherwise join. Not that there is anything wrong with this, if what you want is to promote the larger, multi-cultural type of projects and artists. I'm just saying, from a marketing point of view, your projected image is excluding much of your actual potential audience. If you instead appeared to welcome and encourage the regular type of artists to join, the site would grow much faster. That may not be your intention, but it is obviously a need that is out there to be filled or you would not have so many regular artists joining. Once one does join and gets onto the forums, I believe everyone feels welcomed. If the newbie only knew that ahead of time, they might more readily join.

Okay, that's my two cents, and I guess it's out there now, ready to be bashed!
Oh yes, and when it says you have 15 minutes to edit your comment, I don't seem to have a way to do so!

What I wanted to add is my thanks. You two are giving an incredible gift and have created something amazing here. It is fantastic beyond comprehension, how so many artists around the world are connecting here.
Thanks, Julie! Definitely something that John and I have been talking about- really appreciate it.
I am sorry to read that you are having such issues. If anyone else is having similar issues, please let us know. Julie, this should not be due to an old version of XP... Is the "reply" option not there, or is it there but there is no way to click on it? will look into it.
Hi Nico, I don't know what changed, but I today when I experimented I was able to do the things I hadn't been ever been able to before. Everything is working! Thanks for your concern.
- Wow, even the "15-minutes left to edit" button is working. What a dream.
I wonder if it is because of the computer optimization scan I ran yesterday.
"Only speak if you have something good to say" this is the first introduction our children get to their school every year.

Hi Nico and John, I went and looked up the history of the internet just to be sure of its true philanthropy with groups of well meaning people bringing forth its monumental creation, so, here we are today using this communication tool that is for everyone with computer access, what can come next. Well, your website for starters, I truly can't believe how you devote so much energy to this creation, so my miniature contributions are also to bring attention to how we can contribute to your website evolution, which amazingly so far has no mention of advertising, corporate funding, donation, invasive copyright software etc, you are most definitely an inspiration to the progress of critical planning and relevance to artists and creative fruition. So on the bus yesterday I sketched a small idea to try and see how we can collate important topics in a more dimensional way and encourage further participation in true values of thought small or large…as with the Facebook creation, (which I find a little uncomfortable) it will be the collective who shape its momentum so we perhaps need seeds planted to grow this culture and stream the philanthropic idea as you have mentioned in your participation guidelines.
I have been part of a few other groups and none of them stack up to much, mostly sensationalism and a dream of catching the big fish.
here is yesterdays note to scribble over as my children mostly do…Wayne

Thanks so much Wayne! Loved the image and the text, and we are so grateful that you took the time to do that, means a lot to us! We are currently working to soon release a Groups function that will allow more targeted discussions- and I think this is relevant to your sketch. More soon- thanks again!
T-shirts please, that say "CreateCulture," it would be great advertising for the site, and maybe there's an Artist here who can design the shirts? I just bet there is, huh? Well, with all the great Artists here that is! :>)

I'm at a site called Artislyfe.com , and what they did is have a contest every month or so, for Artist of the month, the winner received an interview at Artislyfe, and also got a t-shirt, I got mine! :>D

Great idea, Cheryl, thanks!
Hi Nico & John,
Congrats for your work. How can culturalists and people who are intersted in create culture meet, learn, share ideas. I mean a meeting point face to face. Any suggestions..?

best regards,
Raj K
