what has art not yet been used for?
I have been occupied with thinking about Art and it's uses over the century, and am wondering if there is a use for Art not yet explored...? Art has been used for so many things, documentation, propaganda, politics, sales, revolt, beauty and ugliness, cheat, shock, soothe, heal etc etc...is there something it has not yet been used for...?

Great question! How about finance? Seems like the world of finance is devoid of art- though the creativity to come up with those financial products that took the economy down is impressive... if only they had a way to better channel their creativity... maybe we can start a campaign for "Tango lessons for stockbrokers" and this will one day develop in products like the "401k Flamenco" with investment options in dancing shoes and the like...

Nico, you're funny, I'm laughing, hee-hee, 401k Flamenco. I got an image of a bunch of people in suits, well "business attire," because lots of women are right in the middle of finance now. Yeah, holding roses in their mouth doing the flamenco, dipping each other, yeah, I think it'd be great! :>D
A little creativity added in there, then they'd be happier, less stressed out, and maybe figure out how to solve this financial mess that the world's in.
Art really is life, isn't it?
You're right marceau, Art has been everywhere, from the first caveman/woman, who picked up a rock, and scratched on a cave wall, to our present day, Art is creating with your hands what you can't fathom in reality.
