What is the ONE place you would like to go to, and why?
If you could only go to one place- and it has to be a place you have never been to before- where would you go and why? For me I think it would be Tuva, in Inner Mongolia, to spend a night out in the desert listening to throat singers under the full moon... that idea seems so amazing to me! How about you? Get creative!

I've always wanted to learn to play the harmonica and I've always wanted to improve my surfing skills and I've always wanted to improve my Spanish speaking abilities. So, if I won the lottery I'd travel down Highway 1 in California straight thru to Baja....Then make my way over to Central America studying harmonica, surfing, and speaking Spanish all of the merry way.

Maybe I should be more specific since we are talking about the ONE place I have never been before and I have been down highway 1 and driven to Baja and have spent some time in Central America.....but not enough time. I want to go to a coastal town in El Salvador and hangout there for a year or so.

Israel 1st, then Italy, then Germany again, (lived there as a little girl) , Australia, Japan again, (lived there as a little girl too), oh, lots of places really.
Always wanted to travel on a train, think that would be fun! Visit every Art museum in the world ... hmm ... can I write a book? LOL

what I've been wishing for years...
I'd love to hitch hike the outer space and get a ride on an OVNI...
thinking on planet earth... there are few places that I have not been that I'd like to go... Bhutan probably would be my choice to spend some time with this culture that has manage to keep themselves out of the tourist loop, so damaging to other parts of the world.

I was in Inner Mongolia in 2009. I went around and was able to visit the tomb of Genghis Khan.
How I wish I had time to spend a night time out, too, to really have a feel of |Mongolia's nature.

Love this question...
I would travel to Scandinavia in a heartbeat during the summer months to experience midsommar celebrations and Germany in the winter months to experience the Kriskindlmarkt (sp?). There is also skiing in the Swiss Alps. Shopping in London, Paris, and Milan. Seville, Spain for the big Feria (where everyone dresses up and dance sevillanas all day). I would love to also just relax in Bali, Hawaii, and Nice.
