a NYC Culturalista meetup?
One of the ideas for having groups was that for those that were location-based, we could eventually get together. Would you be interested in getting together to meet other NYC Culturalistas? What kind of event would you enjoy? Just putting it out there, and maybe we can do something in the new year!

I think this is a great idea and something as simple but nurturing as meeting up and eating ethnic food in Queens would be welcome. It seems that we all have a diversity of interests and an open way of connecting with culture through the gastronomic delights of the city can be a good way of breaking the ice. I understand that New Yorkers are busy, but we all need to eat.:) Happy Holidays!

A food outing would be good or a potluck at someone's house with be cozy, drinks at a bar would be fun too.
Something active would be good too, maybe a dance class, a pottery class, an art class, a "Create Culture scavenger hunt", etc.

great idea nico! we could go on a gallery run in chelsea, grab a drink at a bar later and finish up w/ dinner! potluck at someone's place works well too. keep me posted!
