CreateCulture.org was launched in early 2009 by friends Nico Daswani and John Rouse, and is now a community of more than 2,000 people from 100+ countries. Our vision is of a space where artists can learn about each others' lives and come into contact for deep and meaningful artistic exchanges across geographical, cultural and ethnic boundaries.

We think of artists as culture bearers, and we envision the profile of each artist on CreateCulture.org as a virtual home that welcomes others into their work, background and dreams, and offers a glimpse into their culture as it exists today. Our goal is for CreateCulture.org to lead to artists hosting each other, learning together and collaborating, based upon deep and respectful exchange, thus opening new channels for communication, understanding and inspiration across cultures.
