48" X 36 " oil on canvas, "Getty Teen". I'm back to painting these overhead pieces, after painting a bunch of paintings for my Ebay store, and preparing for the opening of the "Global Warming"
exhibit at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, a show featuring a piece from one of my older series. "Getty Teen" is the second in my new series of paintings derived from reference taken at the Getty Center. Unwitting tourists and Angelenos are captured by my video camera from the various bridges and balconies at the Center and painted on large canvases in this painterly, "digi-impressionism" style.
