Piyal's Drama

National award winning Sri lankan playwright Piyal Kariyawasam's latest theatre production 'Rahas Udaviya' (working title - Translation 'Secretive People) is scheduled to be staged in Colombo, in June 2012.
With 4 characters - 3 women and one man - the play unravels around the members of a family, where each is on a quest of their own, trying to find solutions to their personal, inner conflicts as well as the social conflict, particularly as experienced in an upper middle class urban setting.
