In February 2011, following the border skirmishes between Thailand and Cambodia, many villagers were evacuated and arrived to set up camp in Kantaraluk, Si Saket.
Nitaya Ueareeworakul and The Border Artist Group conducted art activities during this time.
For the first two days events were held at the local authority's office. The activities were open to kids and adults. About 3000 people had moved and lived here for 2 weeks.
Workshops were also held at the Kantaraluk College where 2000 evacuees were living, and at Poomsarai School which is in the immediate border area.
500 students of Poomsarai joined the activities.
