Reminds me of the fabled pipal tree in Indian lore. Spirits are said to reside on them!!! This is great work, too intricate to have been done by hand. Full Marks!!

The work is very powerful in its own visual impact but the title is more powerful! The texturing and soft colors are appealing to the eye and sadness lurks within the thin lines themselves. Skeletal remains, knives, ropes, guns seem to limit the ability to see the women and men, the bound and prehaps the woman in the middle with a questionable early pregnancy as her abdomen is softly rounded. Nice work but leaves a feeling of sadness and anger as I wonder why it is this way.

Wonderful work, and oil ? When first I looked at this one, I saw tile, bold statement in this one.
