Pullulo

Pullulo means "To sprout" or "To burgeon". This piece is 6" x 6", Aqueous Oil paint on canvas. This series of small paintings was inspired by an idea that unicellular organisms have been on Earth since the beginning of life, and will be here after everything we know is gone. What will the new life forms look like when it all begins again?
