Rust

Rust has been specially prepared like the old masters and is an original JET III Oil painting on linen from 1989. This Marine Park Series painting is mounted on a larger section of an old boat hatch approx. 30" x 24" in size. The painting itself is was done plein air in the Dead Horse Bay section of Marine Park in Brooklyn, NY and is framed with painted solid wood and then mounted on the teak. It also features antique glass shards mounted around the frame. The subject matter is the beach sand and waters edge and an old rusted metal container with spiraling metal parts sticking out around it.
