This painting was created by letting different densities of water and acrylic bleed into one another. I used a hair dryer to speed up the drying in certain areas. Afterwards, I accentuated dark and light edges. My color choice was based on the colors used in the décor of a friend's home - black, white and pink.

At the time I was using Atelier acrylic paint, before the change in formula to Atelier Interactive. The paint mixed with water very easily and enabled wet 'n' effects.

Like the blurry stars of the Old Masters, this piece draws the viewer in searching for some hidden mystery. The soft pinks and blues are a wise choice for depth and dimension. Wonderful work!
