I grew up in South East Asia. Born in Singapore, lived in Indonesia for 7 years, and Singapore for 9 years, California for 4 1/2 years, New York based since 2005.
I'm currently creating a multi disciplinary arts project about Global Nomads and we will be going on a mini-tour with it in the spring 2010 but hope to tour the project around the world.

I am attracted to dances that engage people from a sociological context. What do I mean by sociological context? The type of work I actively

pursue are pieces that create a sense of community among people from

the subject matter which is usually about a very specific group of
