About Me And My Work

I will be a Fashion Design AAS student at Parsons starting Fall 2011.
I have been away from visual arts since high school (10+yrs), so I'm getting back into the swing of things as I continue practicing drawing and making up creative challenges for myself. Occasionally work on styling photo shoots, organizing costume parties, doing wardrobe consulting for private clients.
I took intensive art classes throughout high school, painting and drawing, and briefly in college, but just recently got back into sewing, fashion, and accessories design. And I've decided to make it my career.

Places I Would Like To Visit

I enjoy looking at street art (stickers, graffiti, stencils) and street fashion, or just weird things that get lost/purposefully left in random places... I live close to NYC, so I travel there frequently. I have made short trips to Philadelphia and New Orleans, which were really inspiring. Most recently went to Montreal, which was fabulous. Would love to travel to Cuba, Argentina, Europe, Africa, and Asia, everywhere! I would not pass up any travel opportunity. I can find inspiration anywhere including my own block!
