About Me And My Work
My professional career encompasses the fields of media and cultural journalism, videojournalism, film festivals, Television & Film production, performing arts, marketing, cultural development, project management, media team leader as well as working with non-profit arts and cultural organizations developing and implementing projects, mostly focused on Arts and Culture for peace-building.

I have worked as the Cultural Liaison Director for the Washington, D.C. Indy Film Festival and Cine Latino (a monthly film series in association with the American Film Institute (AFI), Media and Cultural Advisor for the Washington, D.C Latin-American Film Festival, the Washington, D.C. International Film Festival, the Kabul International Film Festival, the first Human Rights Film Festival in Afghanistan, among others. Other media, and cultural projects include the AmericARTE Festival with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, The Washington National Opera, The National Gallery of Arts, GALA Hispanic Theatre, Teatro de la Luna, National Geographic, Cirque du Soleil, Associated Press, BBCmundo.com, Voice of America (TV Producer), TeleSUR TV (TV Producer), among others.

I have also participated as a Producer, and Assistant Producer for various shorts, features and documentary films. "Circus School" is my first documentary as director, script-writer and producer.

Since 2009, under the supervision of Oscar nominee Iranian-dutch filmmaker Shoresh Kalantari, I have been working as a Multimedia TV/Film/Video Producer for the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA). The work entails co-producing one Radio show and two weekly television shows with Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA), and co-working with Afghan civil society on various film, media, arts, cultural development projects for peacebuilding.

I was born in Caracas-Venezuela and raised between Caracas, Paris and Washington, DC.

I am fluent in Spanish, French, English, Portuñol and Italian.
