About Me And My Work

A native of New Mexico, Barbara writes about the arts, cultures, and history of the American Southwest. Her particular interest is the literary arts and heritage of New Mexico. Her book, WALKS IN LITERARY SANTA FE: A GUIDE TO LANDMARKS, LEGENDS, AND LORE was published in 2007. She also writes about creative tourism and the creative economy of Santa Fe. Her work has appeared in the Bloomsbury Review, the Newark Star-Ledger, the Santa Fe New Mexican, New Mexico Magazine, and other regional publications.
