My Specialties
Journalism -- mostly sports writing, but occasionally entertainment.
About Me And My Work
Solo guitarist/singer in the early 1980's, playing pop covers and two original songs in sleazy bars and clean steak houses in California's fertile Central Valley. Upon graduating from college, gave that up to eat, become a journalist and raise a family. Have two creative sons. The eldest is an aspiring writer and S.F. State grad, while the youngest is a sophomore music composition major at Northwestern Univ. and aspires to be the second coming of Esbjorn Svensson.
Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With
I occasionally get the itch to pull my 1976 Ovation (the only one still in existence without a crack extending downward from one side of the bridge) off the wall and play an open mic event. Then, it passes.

I could only dream about having the chops to share a stage with Pat Metheny.
My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists
Metheny, Yes, E.S.T., The Bad Plus, Umphrey's McGee, Brad Mehldau, Miles Davis. My son Conner, whose web link is listed below.
