Oh yes, stories with our art would be wonderful! We talked about doing that in a gallery I used to work in. Stories about piece are a natural way to draw in the public and give them something to attach to that piece, to make it even more desirable…
Although I have studied through various workshops and some formal studies (University of Northern Colorado) there have always been encouragement for me to be creative. My family has many talented members each with a different medium preference. A few are even multi-talented. The talents range from domestic arts to visual and performing arts. Like all children, I loved to draw and color, however; I started to learn other family arts at a young age, have never stopped and hope I never do.
Places I Would Like To Visit
My artistic path started on the rural plains of Colorado and have since been moving west and south slowly but surely. At each new juncture I am thrilled to be in a new environment, meet new and wonderful creators and continue on in my artistic path.
Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With
I continue to meet and interact with artists of all genres though I have not yet given thought to many collaborations.
My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists
There have been many influences from family members to various teachers, friends to great artists of our day such as Georgia O'Keefe to the masters of old that we all admire as in Renoir, Turner, or Van Gogh. Far too many to learn from.
My Artistic Affiliations
Previous involvements in the Greeley, Longmont and Boulder, Colorado areas. Currently in Denver and getting acquainted. Have joined several online groups and continue to find more online paths.
