About Me And My Work
Co-author of "A Mouthful of Rivets: Women at Work in World War II". Essays have been published in several literary magazines including Bayou Magazine, Concho River Review, Spot Lit(erary) Mag(azine), Sigurd Journal, O! Tempora Magazine and Oasis Journal 2008. My essay "Memory Book" was recognized as a "notable" essay by Best American Essays. I'm a student of papermaking and book-binding -- artistic ventures at which I hope to become more proficient.

Artistic Experiences I Have Had On My Travels
I loved watching and talking with the Otavalo Indian weavers in Ecuador. I've made four lightship baskets in Nantucket, MA. I've enjoyed taking letterpress and bookbinding courses at the San Francisco Center for the Book and papermaking courses at Pyramid Atlantic in Silver Spring, MD
Places I Would Like To Visit
Everywhere but top on my list right now are Pompeii, Greece and Rome.

To make people laugh, cry and/or think through my writing.
