About Me And My Work
Divya Nedungadi (Mohiniyattam Performer and Researcher based in Palakkad, Kerala) Disciple of Guru Smt. Vinita Nedungadi, Divya had done her MA in Mohiniyattam from Sanskirt University, Kalady and stood TOP in the University. Divya is also a Gold Medalist (First Rank) in BA Sanskrit Sahithya from Calicut University. A Graded Artiste of Doordarshan, she is a recipient of National Level Scholarship given to Talented Young and Upcoming Artistes for conducting Higher Studies in the field of Mohiniyattam by Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2008. Besides Mohiniyattam, she has mastered Classical Music and Sanskrit too. She has also qualified UGC's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET)for Lectureship.Presently,Divya is doing her PhD in Dance from the prestigious Visva-Bharati University (Santiniketan).
