About Me And My Work: Architecture school in Frankfurt, Germany. About half of the curriculum was art: architectural drawing, water colors (of all kinds), sculpturing, collages, life drawing. Studied abstract painting for several years with contemporary artist Birgit Luxemburger and drawing with Dorothee Rocke, painiting summer school in Provence, Graduate studies of art at Goethe Universitaet Frankfurt. Artist's excursion to Tuscany. Full time artist (painter) with studio in Amesbury, MA since 2004, Besides that, I've been writing all my life.

Places I Would Like To Visit: I am always inspired to write and draw on my travels. Have been writing travel journals numerous times on journeys through France and Italy, the USA, Costa Rica, La Palma, Crete. I am inspired to paint by nature, e.g. by the wide open space in the western US or on the East coast, by the rolling hills in Tuscany, the warm colors in Provence, the pigments there... The Italian language is like music for me, the culinary art of all kinds inspire me, make me feel connected... Especially meeting people of different countries have given me many new little and not so little insights which always flow into my arts. Even a trip in the Frankfurt subway might be a learning experience for me, an adventure, seeing a Picasso show in New York can fill me with deep joy. All these little experiences help me to let me paint or write freely, out of my inner self .
