Thank you for your comment Gail! I am equally astounded by your work. You weild those pieces of glass as deftly as any painter uses a brush.....I have never seen glass been used in this way before! Too thrilling. So much for the '0' type…
You create beautiful work. I visited your site, and I love the broken dishes mosaic idea. What a great way to hold on to a sentimental keepsake. I may be sending you broken dishes in the future.
I am self taught and have experience in many different mediums, but am most drawn to creating with found objects. I dove into pique assiette mosaics about six years ago, where I continue to find myself delightfully "lost" in my work.
My work has been represented in local galleries and shows, and in Frisco N.C.
Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With
To be one of many many artists who have decided to work together to convey one idea: that there is no "us" and "them". We'd have a show, or a festival with food, dancing, music, stories, poetry, and all of the visual arts. Think of the possiblities!
My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists
The work of the Impressionists and art quilting among many other things have had an influence on my work. My Favorite artists are Marc Chagall and Henry Darger.
My Artistic Affiliations
Member Lewisburg Arts Council, Lewisburg, Pa, and The Perry County Council of the arts in New Port, PA

I love your mosaics, it is a medium (style?) that I would really like to explore. I'm Catholic so that and stained glass have a natural attraction . Thanks for your visit and comment on my picture. marK
really love your work. great profile....thanks for introducing me to Darger. my wife's sister lives in Lewisburg. i'll definitely be letting her know about mela mosaics.
Gail these images are beautiful and we are featuring a couple of them- so glad to know about your work and to know a bit more about your artistic dreams. What's in Ravena? Is it the capital for mosaic making? Eager to learn more. Welcome to Create Culture- Nico & John
