Wood sculptor and professional elder modern dancer. Trained with Martha Graham, Limon Company, Mary Anthony. Courses in wood at
Museum School and Mass Art. Eight solo shows and seven two-person exhibitions. Many juried exhibits. Poetry and illustrations published in US, Canada, Europe.

Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With

Previous collaborations: "the intimate life of trees" with poet Marguerite Bouvard; illustrations for Robert Gibson's "Children of the Sparrow," and "Perhaps, except in Spring."

My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists

Japanese brush drawings, especially Hokusai's one-brush drawings;
the work of Andy Goldsworthy; the drawings and sculpture of Giacometti, Brancusi's sculpture; painting by John Singer Sargent; poetry by TSEliot, Yeats, Hopkins, Levertov, Rich.
