About Me And My Work

I'm interested in lots of different media and applications but my background hinges on photography and sculpture. Right now, I'm working on a large scale glass commission for windows in a train station. I'm using photography, digital software, enamel glass painting and sandblasting to create about 2000 square feet of art glass windows.

Places I Would Like To Visit

I'm always inspired by travel. Sometimes I go somewhere to photograph (like southern New Mexico to photograph the white sands monument and experienced a dust storm) and sometimes I go to places like Europe just to soak in the culture without a camera.
I would love to travel more in Asia. I did go to Japan for three weeks once and loved it.
I have also worked with a wonderful glass studio in Munich twice.

Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With

Working with people in China to create something together. Maybe in ceramic or glass; maybe in photography. China seems like a very exciting and creative place.

My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists

I like looking at all sorts of artwork. My favorite American artists include Georgia O'Keef, Richard Deibenkorn and Robert Raushenberg. I'd like to learn more about contemporary Asian artists and African artists.
