- Been really engaged in Kenyan and Regional (East Africa) film industry as an actress, now venturing into writing. Also committed to poetry, just published a short collection in this local market. committed also to poetry as a performed art, leaning especially to linkages with music. Formal background is technically in music.

- Performed at 2009 Stockholm poetry festival, attended Berlin Poetry festival 2008, looking to perform everywhere else, share what East Africa and I are doing with poetry, really looking to collaborate with other artforms, video, dance, etc. :)
