Sultan Muhammad Razzak (Ph.D, d’ Animador UNESCO) is a successful cultural advocate for introducing cultural convention in Bangladesh and active voice in the contemporary cultural movement. He is an online teacher of several Universities. He is founder of “International Culture University”.
Presently, he is President of Bangladesh Human Rights Journalists Forum and also a member of the Governing Board of Editors of the American Biographical Institute, Inc. He won the prestigious title "MAN OF THE YEAR 2005" by the institute's International Board of Research.
He was appointed as a Member of the Advisory Council and Director General of Mooreland University’s Syndicate for Culture, Peace, Education and Socio, Economic Development.
Sultan Muhammad Razzak obtained Masters in Bengali Literature from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh) and two Doctorate degrees in Development Communication (Sociology and Cultural Communication in Development) from Ansted University, UK and in the Mass Media from Mooreland, University, USA.
He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Ansted University, UK for his exemplary contribution to the protection of cultural rights and the promotion of peace, religious rights and the rights of indigenous people, human rights, democracy and communal harmony.
He was awarded with UNESCO Fellowship and obtained professional degree “UNESCO Expert Leader (d’ Animador UNESCO)”.
He was a playwright and directed more than twenty theater, wrote over a thousand Lyrics, articles cultural communication and presented papers in different conferences and Universities.
He has investigated through social research and video research; the serious situation facing the country's poor children, focusing on the psychological state of children in different brothels, impoverished families and child workers status in Bangladesh.
He has conducted studies observing the culture and tribal lifestyle of Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT). He also conducted observing study case on sexual behavior in the both side of cross border regions of Bangladesh and India.
He started use of new media and introduced monthly electronic newsletter KRISHTI KATHA (Talking about Culture) in the year 1997 and VOLUNTEER in 2000 and disseminate them at 10,000 addresses worldwide. He was also produced 18 video documentations for different international and national organizations.
He was founding member of the Graam Theater (the people's theatre) and has started up theatrical and cultural movement for development with grass-roots non-profit organizations of Bangladesh and made a success expanded program of Immunization (EPI) through theatrical arts of communication. He has trained up different organization (NGOs) on theatrical art of communication and fun and learn methods of effective script development under the Communication Department of UNICEF; from 1989 to1994 as Project Coordinator.
He was faced the open audience of 141 questions session on “Cultural investment “issues in the World Cultural Forum-Barcelona-2004.
He is involved as Steering Committee member of INCD, Advisor of World Culture Open (WCO), Member of Thesis committee, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He is Advisor, visiting Professor and Associates of different Universities and members of different global cultural networks.
