About Me And My Work

Trained in visual arts and the performing arts as a classical dancer. Have been performing and choreographing for the last 30 years. Set up a cultural action group called ' Tehrik-e-Niswan' - meaning Women's Movement and creating and performing dance and theatre.

Art Forms And Cultures I Would Like To Engage With

To set up a cultural centre in Karachi where the company can rehearse and perform. The cultural centre would house both my Dance Company as well as the Theatre Company.
