About Me And My Work
Studies of Arabic music in Egypt and Syria, training in Classical western composition and theory at Harvard and CUNY.

I currently direct ensemble Zikrayat, http://zikrayatmusic.com, an ensemble dedicated to presenting the dance and classical repertories of the Arab world side-by-side, with an emphasis on rare repertory from the Golden Age of Egyptian Musical Cinema (the 1940s-60's)

Places I Would Like To Visit
Had lots of great experiences studying intensely in Egypt and Syria. I'd love to find the time to keep going back. Beyond that, I'd love to go to India some day to study music... I love South Indian violin playing.
