Inter Act Art is a cultural organization registered at the Ministry of Cultural affaires Sri Lanka. Our group which started in 1990 has completed many activities up to now.

Basically, our group is involved in stage drama and Performing art. Also. Our group is a multi language, multi religious group. Its decision making activities are conducted by a committee comprising of Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim representatives.

By now we have produced about 20 short plays, 12 plays of longer duration. In addition we have also produced Ballets, documentaries and short films.

We also have small Theater house –Sri Lanka’s first black box theater (library, Academy, Theater) & small active groups in Nuwara Eliya, Pundaluoya, Kotagala, Hambanthota and Puttalam.

Cepa, German Cultural Centre, Neelan Thiruchelvam fund, FLICT-GTZ are some of the institutes/ organizations that sponsor our group.
