- About Me And My Work
- My art provokes questions in viewers minds. While I believe great art should inspire, baffle and amaze, I cannot take credit for that which you see.
It is not contrived nor planned to draw the viewer into a spiritual reckoning but rather the product of unexplained forces that drive the marks and colors .
My creativity flows from the inspiration of artists before me such as Jackson Pollock and
my late father John C. Davis of Las Vegas, Nv.
A recurring dream which depicts a broken artists brush was the impetus for a complete turn around in style and technique. No longer bound by rules, my work now is created freely with my fingers and other found objects.
Subjects are never a deliberate choice but only determined by dreams and spiritual phenomena that enter my consciousness.
