Yeah I would love to talk to you about that. I am working now on a version of Macbeth that is deconstructed and reconstructed in different ways every night with my company of jazz musicians, actors and dancer. It is called Macbeth Variations. This could work well at a jazz festival as it is built on the tenets of jazz improvisation. The composition allows for lots of improvisation within it and different instruments solo and comp -taking on the role of Lady Macbeth, the witches and Macbeth at different times through different artistic forms. In any case, it would be a real twist on what normally constitues jazz fare at a festival. I have some info about the show on my website: www.strikeanywhere.info and we can always talk more about it.
