Marionettes

AS of mid 2010, i've been sewing/creating cloth Marionettes, as a sort of a new personal Puppet-challenge. Created many since then, no particular show /story in mind yet, but when i do, there'll be ready. This one

is named"Sigurd Redbeard". friends and family in Norway helped to name him.I fully realize that Vikings Helmets had no Horns or wings on them, and as i stated, if i want an audience to see it as a Viking character, Wings are necessary. I use clear strings so that the illusion might be better.

Culture in Puppet Productions

Hello everyone.

I have recently learned that the Iconic Dragon seems to be as not a part of Japan culture/Stories  as is in China. Of the few Marionettes i've constructed, two particularly sprang forth with a story in mind.. an Asian Woman and Asian Dragon. Though i'd prefer a doll sized Kimono made by an expert to be worn by the one, [ best effort did i use to sew one accordingly]. Her title is "Kasumi".
